Roosters Galore!

Whoo hoooo!!!!!! This should be a hoot! A whole bunch of people toting their Roosters out to share. I think this is such a good idea for a fun party! Thanks go to the super sweet Barb from her blog Bella Vista for thinking this one up!!!! Please join her and see what other fabulous Roosters are out there ruling the Roost! (If the button doesn't work, scroll down my blogroll. You'll find her!)
I only have 3 of these guys, so it shouldn't take you too long to take a peek. Then you can move on over to the next Roost and see what's cookin'. (GASP! Did I say that?)
Enjoy all!
Let's start in the kitchen.

My sister gave me this guy for Christmas one year, gosh, a long time ago.
I think he is the best gift she's ever given me.
I just love him.
He keeps a watchful lazy eye on me when I'm in the kitchen.
Aren't his colors gorgeous? He's very proud of himself!
Then on the other side of the kitchen we have this little guy.
I found him at a little boutique a few years ago.

Isn't he precious? Kinda looking at me like "Don't even THINK about it Lady!"
Then as you walk in from the garage, I have the baker's rack.
This is our "dump" zone. Mail, keys, phones . . .
With this big guy hangin' out on the bottom shelf
keeping an eye on things.
Don't tell my boys, but he's kept me up to date on
their "late hours" shall we say, for the past several years.

"WHAT! Who me?"
I LOVE his feet!
WHOOPS! How did he get in here?
Finally, I have a coffee set that I've had for probably 15 years or so.

A different Rooster on each side.
And that my friends, is it from our roost. Thanks for visiting! And now I'm off to enjoy everyone else's fun posts! Thanks again Barb!!!!
Have a great day!!!

What a fabulous gift from your Sister! Don't you love it when you get a great gift from someone special? Not only is the gift perfect but it's cherished! You've got a wonderful collection!

Wow Karen, they all have such distinct personalities. I think that first one wants to be a peacock ~ great colors! And the second one does look like he'd peck your hand if you got to close. I'm sure you're kids will be glad to know you've had a spy all this time.
Have a great weekend!

Karen, what a nice collection of roosters you have. They all go so well together, you'd never know they weren't all purchased at the same time. :-) Fun post.

Hi Karen! The faces on your roosters are so distinctive! The one your sister gave you is gorgeous. Color draws me like a magnet. I had such fun reading your post, and I got a kick out of the sign about cooking with wine. Have a great day and thanks for visiting!

Thanks for stopping by the farmhouse for a visit today! I have more roosters than I could ever put in one post, but those were good for starters! I actually had to pared them down before our move to East TN and have to make myself STOP getting more! But, each one does has its own personality--like yours do! It is ALMOST like they are saying just exactly those things you think they are!! Too Cute!!

Thanks for sharing yours today.

Now that's a lot of Roosters! What a great collection!!

You asked what a Belsnickle was. It's another name for Santa or Kris Kringle - PA Dutch or German.

Thanks for stopping by The Old Parsonage. Come back and visit anytime!!

Hi Karen,
I'm still having lots of fun at this rooster party. Love all your handsome roosters. I especially like the look on the face of the one by the door.
I'm new at tag making, but I like them so much. You can do anything you like, and you're right they are better than a card. I'm working on some other new ones right now. Just need my hot glue gun.
Come join my giveaway if you'd like. The more the merrier!

I'm still making my rooster rounds!

Your roosters definitely look like they could handle an emergency...tough and have an air of authority about them. (ha ha love that the big guy by your garage entry has taken note of your boys ins and outs...)

Blessings & Aloha!
If you're not tuckered out...hope you stop by my rooster party :o)

Ooh, my hubby is a Harley man...had a Road King Classic, but parted with it before our oldest daughter started undergrad (8 yrs ago)... she had a full ride scholarship, but he felt at that time...extra money for her would be a good, she's in her last yr of dental school, 2nd daughter in her 2nd yr of dental, son in his 2nd yr of day, he'll buy another :o) (he can hear 'em a couple of miles away!)
