Without further ado - here we go!!!
First off - Marty - I have a confession. On my last post
you "guessed" this was a cloche. GOTCHA!
It's actually a birdcage!
But it did kinda look like one from the picture.
See? OK, on with the Cloches!!!!
This apothecary jar kind of finds itself in new homes
around the house - depends on the season.
For Autumn it will sit in the entry
On into the dining room ...
My new wire cloche . . .
with a vintage Thanksgiving card tucked inside.
Found this little sweetie in a local antique store.
Kinda hard to see what's inside because of the cut of the glass.
These next ones are in the hallway hutch -
which is EXTREMELY difficult to take a picture of!
I don't move these around a lot because they are
secured with earthquake stickum!
But I'm crossing my fingers as I took out my Mom's good china
(behind each cloche). I never cared for it much
when I was growing up, but I've come to appreciate it since losing her.
It's called Monterey by Vernon Kilns.
OOOOPPPSS!!!!! There is that little owl again! How'd he get in there?
That's it for me. Now zip over to Marty's and see who else is joining the party. Have fun!
