I love getting the mail!

A surprise came in the mail yesterday!

My friend Cindy from Applestone Cottage recently won my surprise giveaway for my 100th post.  So what did she go and do? She sent me a "thank you gift"! Holy cow!

Cindy was one of my first followers. I've known her for almost one year now, and it feels like I've always known her - you know what I mean? I've gone on vacations with her (thanks to Blogland!) I've watched her darling husband create the most fabulous woodworking items, like garage doors and cabinets and mantles.  She lives in the snow, which is my goal in life (I'll get an email when the first flakes fall!) She has bears and porcupines in her yard. (We have bears here but it's just not the same thing.) She has turned her home into the cutest cottage home . . . I just love it. She shares all of her wonderful seasons with me. We tease each other that we are going to match up my youngest son with her positively GORGEOUS daughter. It's just a very fun relationship.

Yet we've never met. But I could pick her out in a crowd. You betcha! And give her the BIGGEST hug!

So here is what came in the mail yesterday!

Look at that bear! Is he not the cutest bear you've ever seen?
Makes you just want to squeeze him!
I wonder if he is related to the one in Cindy's backyard . . .

And here is my adorable little snowman Cindy sent.

I wish you could feel how soft he is . . .

He is just too stinkin' cute!

And a snowflake ornament!
(I almost missed this is the bubble wrap packaging!! WHEW!)
Gee - do you think my love of snow had anything to do with her choices?

Thank you Cindy! You did NOT need to do this. But I just love him and he will have a very special place of honor in my home once the Christmas decorations go up!!

Isn't blogging fun?

Did I mention that I won my THIRD - yes THIRD giveaway in one week? I won the fabulous prize from Carol Anne's Boutique. (But I warned all of you that I really, REALLY wanted that one!) I will post when I receive my special something from Mrs. Dunbar from Lady Dunbar Living Intentionally (Whoo Hoooo! and I am sooooooo NOT giving that to my husband!)  and Carol Anne's come in the mail!

TOO MUCH FUN!!!!!! Everyone have a wonderful, delightful, awesome weekend!

What a neat story! I follow Cindy's blog...she's a sweetie, and sending you those lovely gifts proves it. I adore snowmen, so he's my favorite...I keep seeing all these Arizona bloggers, and wish I was there. We went to visit my family last week-end, and all I could think about was how much I wanted to meet some of those bloggers! Maybe next time.

Great gifts! Always so nice to get a surprise in the mail instead of a bill!
What fun all the bloggers getting together.
I have met one, Alma at The Tablescaper as she has a summer home near me. We had a 4 hour lunch and a few shopping trips since then!
Dishaholics to the core!

I almost met Carol from There's Always Thyme, but we missed each other in WSONOMA outlet. I got delayed due to the snow, and she was with other gals who don't understand bloggers! :)

Karen, what great mail you got!!! my best gifts come from my girls in blogland...

i saw your comment to me about being stuck on your journal...won't your printer make smaller copies that will fit your book? if you need different images, i would recommend to visit the links Heather has posted for free images...and i also have a lot of free image sites in my blog sidebar, there is a wealth of pretty images available...i wish you luck, that would be frustrating...i had to change up a few of my pages because my printer was being a stinker
