A Valentinesey Day

Are you getting ready for Valentines Day? Have you been creating wonderful vignettes around your home? Or playing with fabrics and textures to create a one of a kind special something for your special someone? Me too!

Sat down with a few of my favorite Somerset magazines . . .

They are just full of lovely photos . . .

And inspiration . . .

To pour over . . .

That get your mind to thinking . . .

And your creative juices to flowing . . .

Reminding me of projects left unfinished . . .

Recently I've been working on this . . .

Paper mache takes time . . .

What are you going to create today?

My husband asked me what I was going to do today . . . I had to laugh when I told him "homework!"

I'm having trouble posting a link for a button up on my sidebar for a fabulous giveaway to share with you. So I'll tell you about her instead. Miss Gracie's House is having a fabulous, fabulous giveaway!
I'm going to win so you really needn't bother to enter . . .  Go visit her. Get ready to drool! :)

Have a good day!

Karen, you always do the neatest things. I think I will just buy a nice card and get DH a box of candy. His favorite kind of course and call it done. I am just not that crafty. Can't wait to see what all you create. Hugs, Marty

Very pretty! I received an order of vintage millinery yesterday, and I'm making teeny paper flowers today. I'm heads-down working on re-opening my online shop. :)
All my sweetie will want for Valentine's is a hug, a kiss, and of course, cookies!
Have a great day, Karen!

Karen, I just wanted to stop by and thank you for a looonnnggg time ago you taking the time to send me a detailed email stating the pros of the Cricut machine. I was considering buying either that or a Silhoutte die cutter machine. Well, because of your excellent, glowing referral, hubby got a Cricut Expressions for me for Christmas and I absolutely LOVE IT.

I've not been blogging since summer because it was just taking too much of my time and I wasn't getting my things done. But, I'm still lurking and checking out my favorite blogs (like yours).

Blessings,

Sher

Karen,

Thank you so much for coming by and encouraging me about our dog, Fletch, who recently passed away. You are right about having another pet eventually even though things are really tough right now. We have already been talking about that.

Your blog is really sweet.

Blessings to you,
Carol

Hi Karen, I love your sweet creation! I can't believe that I haven't done a single thing for Valentine. Good thing that there it's still some time left. Maybe you have motivated me but I think I have to clean my studio first ...

I'm jealous of your new pretty magazines. I haven't been out in the world since last Saturday. And now it's starting to storm. I'm getting the itch now to get to the bookstore and look at magazines though. Maybe tomorrow.
