Mischief makers . . .

So this morning I was downstairs going thru cookbooks, and planning my day. It was only 10 am and 85 degrees out. No oven today! But we've had nothing but June Gloom so far this month  (how appropriately named!) and yesterday was the first day we've seen the sun! So I'm thinking I really need to get up to my studio and clean it up - because Karen Valentine's "Where Bloggers Create II" is coming up this Saturday. We are leaving Friday to go out of town, and I have to work Tues. thru Thurs. so I really need to get going on my post. Today is my only day - thank goodness the sun is finally shining!

I get to the top of the stairs, only to see these two mischief makers TOTALLY up to no good.

Who me?

Something tells me they have quite a story to tell. Remember how they have hosted my other events here in my home? And I must admit, they did a pretty good job.  (Please don't tell them I said that!). Well they both think they are going to get to host the WBCII event. I told them they were not going to be able to help this time - that I had to do this one because there were specific stories behind all the treasures that needed to be told.

Needless to say - neither of them are very happy with me right now...

If they took pictures of my room while it's messy... they are so in the doghouse... I never should've given Jorja my Blogger password...

Hehe, looks like the mischief makers may be out to get you if you don't let them participate! Because who could be mad at such sweet little faces for very long?

Hehe, very funny girlfriend!
Hey Karen, did you send that June gloom here? I haven't seen the sun since last Wednesday! And it rains, and it's gloomy. I have no ambition right now. Well, that's about it for me. Oh, except we're going to Colorado sometime in July!
It's Dan's year to pick a vacation and that's where he picked! We'll drive, it's about 950 miles to Denver,Co. I still am unsure about August. I may have to wait until October to come back out. I will be so sad but I am just waiting to see how we are on funds for fun stuff!
Big Hugs,
Cindy

Honey i aired alllllllllllll my dirty secerets in my post yesterday. Yes, I was ashamed but, I showed photos. I have been MUCKING OUT the studio for a week & I have learned a few things: 1. I HATE THE WALL PAPER IN THERE (which is 12 years old) & IT IS OUT OF THERE SOON!!!!! But, not before WBC II. 2. I have way too much stuff & need to have a craft sale. 3. I am way behind in working in there because it had been too big of a mess. Can't wait to see your post. Go check out my mess & you will feel GOOD! June Gloom... honey I would take the gloom over this heat any day. I am missing California sooooooooo bad. Was there twice last year & looks like maybe will only make it once this year :( OK written a book... have a great week. HUGS! Charlene

HI Karen,

Gloomy weather in soCal? Hard to believe! We have had lots of sunshine here in norCal. However, since I'm working indoors all day it's not like i can really enjoy it or anything. ;-) Yay for the weekends though! I've been preparing my photos for the WBCII event too as I have my niece visiting from Washington on Friday and Saturday. So nice you have helping paws. I may have to ask Miss Gracie and Nipper if they could possibly help me...

Oh Karen, you are just too funny. I love this post. We are up to 104 to 107 for this week. The really hot season is on the way. I hate that.
Did you sign up with Mr. Linky or Inlinkz. It will make a difference on how to set it up, but both are really easy. Just let me know. I can't wait until August. Hugs, Marty
