Bear with me . . .

Having a little Email problem - I'll get it fixed though.

But for all you Fall Findings Swap participants - be patient, I will have a letter to all recapping the swap before I leave for Washington next Tues. In the meantime - if you don't see your name over on my sidebar to the right under "Swap Participants" - let me know ASAP!

On that note - I will be out of town (with Joy - having WAAAYYY  TOO MUCH FUN!) 9-28 through 10-4. I have no idea if I will be able to communicate with anyone . . . and we'll be in planes, and on the road and in a 3 days worth of classes. So don't plan on hearing from me until later on that week.

I got almost all of my projects done this weekend! I will post them when the time is right . . . very fun. At the very last minute I had to make something for 29 Meet and Greet ladies for our classes up at Terri Brush Art Camp in Oregon. But - I got them all done! I looked at my husband last night and said "My brain is fried. I cannot create another thing." He told me to go have a glass of wine. LOVE THAT!!! :)
I needed it . . .

Today it has been 12 years since my Mom died.
I miss  her so much - sometimes I can't stand it.

And tomorrow it will be two years since
my husband's best friend Kevin died.
Miss you too Kev.
Mark really misses you . . .

Hugs to all . . .

Hi Karen,
I just got done running some meds to my Mom that she needed. And I realized that I would miss her so much and should not take this time for granted. I understand about you missing your Mom. I miss my Dad and we weren't as close as my Mom and I.
Thanks for reminding me to cherish the moments!
Sounds like you have a lot of fun planned too, enjoy girlfriend!
Katie is 16 days away from her due date, I hope it's soon as I have baby on the brain!
Big Hugs,
Cindy

Sorry about the sad/empty feeling for the loss of Mom & Kevin. That is such a bummer feeling. So I'm sending you a HUGE HUG! And you & Joy are lucky girls. I didn't know you were going to Terri Brushes Art Camp. I looked at that for next year & wondered about it. Let me know what you think & take TONS of photos. HAVE FUN & give Joy a big HUG from me too. Charlene

I so miss my mom too and the loss of a good friend can be just as devastating. I love to think of the old show "Mamma's Family" when Eunice would scold Mamma by saying "Look Old Lady" My mom & I always laughed over that one!

Take care and enjoy that wine!

What a pretty lady your mom was. I'm coming up on 8 years of losing my mom too. I so wish she could have seen my grandgirls -- she would have loved it!

I don't think it really matters if you are an adult when you lose a parent, especially your mom. Losing my mom (6 years ago last week) has been the toughest event I've gone through...she was my BFF. I miss her so much everyday. Although nothing and no one can replace your mom, you sure have a great family and a lot of super friends! I'm not sure if time truly makes the hurt lesson, but some days are diamonds now...

Take care...and have fun on your trip.

How do you do it all?
I'm begging you to send me some of that good stuff! hahaha

Sorry about today...I'm sure it was rough for you. I had my bad day on Friday as it was 7 years for me. My weekend was quiet. I miss her.

I just cannot believe you finished all of your creations...including the glove pages? I'M PLUM JEALOUS OF YOU. and...I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing! hahaha

I know the sweet memories you have are what gets you through the day. She was a pretty lady! I lost my mom when I was only 9...my memories of her remain vivid...and precious to me. Karen~ If you are having trouble with your email then you may not be getting the messages I have been sending you. If you have I apologize for the repeat.

I featured you in my new weekly post, Scrapping With Sherry's Fabulous Finds.

If you have a odd amount of bloggerette members that have signed up for your fall themed swapped I would be interested in participating.

Have a great time on your trip! Your mom was very pretty!

Hope you have safe travels and a wonderful time.

I do understand how you feel about your mom. My mom has been gone since 2004 and I miss her so very much. I would love to just talk with her, hear her voice, spend more time... after getting married almost 29 years ago to a military man, time spent with my parents had been short vacations, between military moves.

So, so thankful for great memories, photos, videos with those family and friends that are no longer with us.

Blessings & Aloha!

HI!!
As adults sometimes we need to feel our MOM"S arms around us more then we think, I still have my MOMMA but she lives far away, in St. Louis, She is not that old--74, but seems older then her age, she can hardly travel alone any more, I fear she is getting dementia like her MOMMA had, and I then fear it for myself. But I hope you found JOY in knowing your MOM is your guardian angel.
hugs,
jamie
