My Favorite Time of Day

You have to move fast
to catch it...
You know - that time alone each morning...
Before the rest of world comes rushing in.
When the sunlight comes streaming in...
Turning everything it touches into
something of beauty.
Even my disaster of a studio.
Projects that MUST get done this weekend...
lay waiting to be completed...
Can I possibly get it all done?
 A lot going on around here . . .
perfect weather . . .
no time to play today . . .
must get to work . . .
But tomorrow is another day!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Beautiful with the light shining in! You WILL get it all done:) I know it is fun to swap but it causes pressure and deadlines. One day I will get the nerve to try! Love you bunches!

Hey, when is your Oregon trip?

Ah yes, the early mornings (in France) are my favourite time of the day as well, you can't beat the quality of that beautiful soft, warm light, the peace and quiet and serenity.

I couldn't agree more. My friends and family don't understand why I get up so early when I don't have to. You have summed it up beautifully. I absolutely cherish that time. Beautiful post. Connie

Yes, my favorite time is in the morning too-but I like my classroom in the morning...before the kids come rushing in and it's silent and calm. I also like when the kids are there and there are brief miliseconds of silence that fills the room. I spent years sleeping with black out curtains on the windows because of my husbands 3rd shift work schedule, so I really enjoy the sunlight peeking in now...what a way to start the day!

I also love the early mornings, Karen. It's such a peaceful time with no noises except the lovely sound of birds singing or the wind rustling in the trees.
Don't worry sweetie, you'll get everything done!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Big hugs to you,
Julia

HI!!!
Oh the peacefulness of early morning hours, or LATE ones as mine are tonight!!Scrambling to finish a few craft projects I promised my son's girlfriend, I told her I would make a few crafts(I told her What I was thinking as cute decorations for her best friends bridal shower) the colors are sage green and brown and she LOVES NATURE, so I came up with a few things!!But just finished them a few minutes ago, such a busy stressful week, I am NEVER a wait to the last minute kind of gal, but that's ok, I can be when it's my daughter's special day!!SO off to play all day and then BAM!!now I have to stay up late to make the decorations I promised!!
Have a great week-end too
hugs,
jamie
