We Will Never Forget . . .

Please - never forget.
Not the heroes
not the innocents
not their families

Never forget.
I am so proud to be an American.
I am so proud
of our country.

Fly your flag with

Wish they would let us EDIT, LOL, our comments.

I will NEVER forget. We became engaged on 9/10, the day before. We were on vacation. I remember waking up on the 11th, so excited to tell everyone.

We went to the lobby to get our breakfast and everyone was glued to the TV. I took a look to see what had their attention and I saw smoke but didn't know what had happended. Someone said, did you hear? I said, no, what?

A plane hit one of the towers in NY.

I will NEVER forget.

NEVER, NEVER, EVER will they be forgotten, chick!!!! As for me, tomorrow I plan on taking some donuts to our local firefighters. It's the very least I can do to thank them for protecting our city, sugar.

The whole world felt your pain on that day. We too will never forget. At the memorial today there will be some Australian fire fighter in attendance. They have spent the last few months walking accross your country in memory of those firefighters that fell that day.
We are all united in this.

I get the chills looking at the pictures...even without them, I can never forget for one second. I'm glad we all support one another in our belief in our country.

I too will never forget Karen, our world changed on that day. I'm proud to be an American and proud of the country that I live in. WE will never forget and we must do whatever is necessary to see that something like the massacre(and I do mean that) that happened at the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and in a lonely field, will NEVER happen again.

In loving memory,

Hopefully none of us ever forget. It still seems so unreal. My heart goes out to all these families as they are reminded each year of all they have lost. I pray for our country daily that somehow we can once again hold up the standards and morals set forth by our forefathers. God bless America.

There is no way to forget that all. I am still surprised at how much and vivid I do. I looked at the sky the other day and will always remember the blue September sky that gave me hope we would get through.
Great post!
Hugs, Lisa

So glad you posted the pictures, even though I do have them burned in my memory, too. I understand that the extended families involved with these pictures may not like to see them, but I honestly believe they need to be put out there for the naysayers. It is truly hard for me to believe how some people do not understand why our troops are overseas doing the job we need done. These men and women are always in my prayers. We've had some very close friends who have served our country during this difficult, uncertain time in history. God Bless them all and God Bless America!

Hope you have an amazing day. Was your trip fun? I'm taking a class with Lisa (Tarnished & Tattered) tomorrow. Can't wait! First day out in weeks. Are you working on your gloves? I have 2 fronts done. HUGS!

The world stood still on that day as we watched in horror those planes fly into the Twin Towers. I was teaching in a school in Scotland - we stopped - we watched - and we will never forget.
Thank you for sharing this blog
