Sleepless night ...

Santa comes tonight...
Have you stopped to think about
how many children will not
sleep a wink tonight in
anticipation of tomorrow morning?
:)
Were you one of them?
I sure was.

Well, the soup is on the stove.
Last batch of cookies are
in the oven.
The tree is trimmed and twinkling.
The gifts are wrapped
and under the tree.
It's such a magical time
of year.

I wish Christmas Blessings for all of you
and a safe and very Merry Christmas!

XOXO

Oh yes! There is no feeling ever in life like that of waiting on Christmas Eve. I still love Christmas Eve to this day even if our family doesn't get together on this particular day. It's just a special night!

I hope you and your family have the best Christmas ever! I was one of those couldn't sleep at all children when i was young. I loved Christmas Eve with going to church and then having a family dinner together and opening one present from Mom every year. They were usually new pajamas so our Christmas pictures were not of us in old pajamas. I looked forward to the present every year. I love new pajamas. This year I will be thinking of Mom spending Christmas in Heaven and how cool that would be even though I miss her so much here. I will be with my best friend's family so that is a good 2nd best place to be. Merry Christmas

Karen, that was both beautiful and poignant. I didn't come from a house of no presents but I did come from one of drinking, especially on Christmas, and tossing a few things at each other, I do wish there was some was we could assure that every child had a happy Christmas.
Fondly,
Suz
