I'M SAD... make a long story Christmas box filled with the entire family's gifts, on it's way to Colorado, is missing. No - no insurance, it hadn't reached that part of it's destination. It was shipped out of my son's office, and somewhere along the way ... somewhere between the post office and Fed Ex (yes you heard right, that's the way his office ships) it has disappeared.

My heart is heavy - there is no way I can replace all that was in that box. I will for the kids...but I can't for my bestest sister-in-law in the world.

Somewhere out there - someone has my gifts. And it makes me angry. I know, I know it's the season for forgiveness and compassion. But - when people steal...especially something like isn't out of need it is out of sheer ugliness.

I called Christie in tears, knowing it is quite doubtful we will ever see that box... and of course she was the positive outlook girl that she is. Yesterday I got this Email...

Made me start bawling all over again!
I love these boys!!! (and the SNOW!).

Oh, Karen...I'm so sorry! That makes me sad, too...but those glorious nephews of yours! What a gift that was! Things will turn out all right, my friend...they always do, somehow.

Hoping you can feel better soon--sending lots of Christmas wishes your way!

This is terrible, Karen...I would be devastated. I hope the box turns up intact. The kids made me smile. They definitely know how much you love them.

Sending you a big hug!

I'm so sorry, Karen. That's just awful that someone would have stolen your gifts. I do hope it's found, but think it was so sweet of your niece and nephew to have made that note for you.
God Bless and Merry Christmas.

Gosh -- this has me in tears as well. No matter what was in your packages...I believe that your nephews have the true spirit of Christmas....something you just can't buy (or ship). Thanks for sharing this Christmas blessing with us.

Oh Karen, I'm heartbroken for you. Now I'm crying! What a terrible thing to have happen.

What a precious message to receive from your sweet nephews. (that REALLY made me cry)

I'll be praying that an honest, Christmas-loving soul finds your package and heads it in the right direction.

Sending love and wishes for a wonderful Christmas! Hugs, Debi

Oh sweetie I KNOW how you feel!!!! Year before last the UPS truck was found but, none of the packages (or the driver) inside... And my Mom's package was in there. Of course she didn't believe that I had mailed something (do I look stupid??? That I would miss mailing something... anything... just not hearing her complain is worth the buying/shipping). Thank goodness I had insured it. So sweet that the kids did the photo/sign. '

Left a comment on the last post too but, wanted to say MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Maybe they got lost in the big snow storm. Might still show up. I will think positive.

Oh sweetie, That is really sad! I'm so sorry. The kids are so cute trying to cheer you up. Hopefully you can still have a lovely celebration, not thinking about it all the time.

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones, dear Karen!

Big Christmas hugs,

Oh, so sorry Karen. My sister's box isn't here yet and she is getting worried. I told her to track it last night so we are hoping it is just late and not missing. Perhaps somehow yours will turn up eventually.

Have a merry Christmas!
